I'm not sure if this is the appropriate part of the forum but here goes.
I am looking to fit window blinds but my window recess seems to be a bit small for the standard 90cm blind (my recess is 89cm). I'd rather avoid having to pay for made-to-measure blinds and I don't want to fit them outside the recess.
A friend has told me that suppliers usually make allowance for the odd cm or two - especially for the headrail. Can anyone confirm this or otherwise advise me?
Hi pelouk, If you want made to measure blinds then the maker will ask for the wall to wall dimension and make suitable clearances. It’s much better and cheaper to buy a standard blind and cut it to size yourself. Regards S
