Fixing a heavy mirror to a plasterboard wall

Post by novice1 » Sun Nov 27, 2011 8:32 pm

Hi,
I'm hoping someone can help my wife and I with a problem we are having with decorating. We would like to hang a heavy mirror in our lounge but the walls are plasterboard. Can anyone please suggest a suitable solution? I know of the hollow wall anchors, but I'm not sure what the maximum weight is for these. Would it be best to use 2 of them to hang a 15kg mirror?
Many thanks in advance

you can use metal redi-drive fixings.I have used them to hang a radiator.
