Fixing Blinds to Aluminium Shop Front Above Windows General problems, solutions, information and advice on fixing to walls of all kinds

Hello all,

I have a thermally broken aluminium shop front, and I'd like to attach blinds above the windows.

Does anyone have any advice on how to do this?
Can I attach directly to the metal, or will this damage the thermal insulation abilities?
