Gas Hob Replacement

Hi, i've noticed several questions on the forum asking how to fit a gas hob almost all recomending to find a registered fitter, thing is i want to replace my gas hob for a better one will i need to contact a fitter or is it just a case of swapping it over?

Best off getting an RGI to install - then you'll be sure it's safe to use.
