Glass Shower Door Hinge Slipped

by chrisalavoine » Sat Sep 08, 2018 9:16 am

Hey all,

I've had this problem for a while and would love to fix it myself but am a little stumped at how to go about it.

I've attached a few photos of the problem but basically I have a glass shower door which has slipped down and now can't be properly opened. I have purchased 2 heavy duty suction cups to assist with this job but am not sure how to proceed with the hinge replacement/fix.

Does anyone have any experience with these kinds of fittings? I can't really see how to remove/loosen the existing hinge. This is also hindered by the fact that I can get inside the shower to see the other side of the hinge.

Any help much appreciated!
Thanks,
Chris.
