Glass Splashback Adhesive - What's the Best Adhesive to use?

Postby Smiffy66 » Sat Nov 08, 2014 9:25 am

I'm fitting a glass splashback in my kitchen. It's going on to a painted plastered wall. There's no fixing holes so obviously need to use an adhesive. What do I use??? There's loads out there. Can someone give me some advice, or a link to a product that I can purchase from a local DIY store.

Many thanks

Rick

Whatever you use remember the splashback will be stuck to the paint layer, not the brickwork. If the paint comes off so will the splasjhback.

Glass Splashback adhesive sealant, a neutral clear solvent-free silicone is the best it gives a strong bonding strength and is water-resistant, so it solves all the purposes.
