Gledhill Boiler Replacement

by Eviehj » Wed Dec 17, 2008 7:17 pm

I have a Gledhill boilermate and Gledhill Condensing Boiler which were installed in June 2006. I have been informed by Gledhill that the Condensing boiler will have to be replaced as the builders wrongly installed the flue and it has corroded the boiler. The builders don't want to know and there is no comeback with NHBC as it's over 2 years old. Gledhill have offered to replace boiler with same but in light of their Water Storage going bust I am worried about parts etc. I have 2 bathrooms both with thermo showers and baths so believe combi system would not work so well. Any advice out there?

Thanks,
Evie

Gledhill Boiler Replacement

Gledhill have quoted £614.53 plus vat for GB15 Hi Efficiency Condensing Boiler. I have already paid them for a service and maintenance contract of £247.25 which I had to pay before engineer would visit. I will then have to find and pay someone to install it. Thanks.
