Glowworm boilder - SwiftFlow - Thermocouple broke?

by trickyneath » Tue Aug 19, 2008 8:09 pm

Hi all,

When I run hot water the pilot light appears to blow itself out after about 10-15seconds. Is this likely to be a thermocouple problem? If so, what course of action do you guys reccommend?

Cheers,
Rich

No, if the flame holds the thermocouple will probably be ok.

More likely to be a dirty pilot, if not a good solid flame - the flame will lift off when the boiler heats up and the fan is running - clean pilot injector and supply pipe.
