halogen wall light

by wilmslowa » Thu Jul 26, 2007 5:44 pm

I posted this last week but got no response, maybe I haven't described problem well enough!
"I have 2 G9 wall lights which have touch switch facility. The touch feature has failed on both and though I could return them I would prefer to keep, and control from light switch. Can I just bypass the "touch" box and wire direct or is some other interface between power and lamp needed? I ask the question as I have a G9 bathroom light which does have a "box" between lamp and supply."
IN OTHER WORDS - CAN I HAVE A LIGHT WITH A G9 BULB CONNECTED TO THE LIGHTING CIRCUIT VIA A WALL SWITCH, IN THE SAME MANNER AS ANY OTHER WALL LIGHT? THIS IS FOR A BEDROOM.
