hanging a mirror above a sink

by rose » Sun Feb 14, 2010 8:13 pm

Would just like to know is there any special height that an Illuminated mirror should be fitted above a bathroom sink?
Problem I have is the wire connection for the light wasn't lowered before the tiling, so therefore I have to get a 800mm mirror so that the wire doesn't show, which will then have to be hung about 400mm above the sink, which seems to me too much.

Alternatively I can just buy a mirror, fit at standard height and then buy a separate light..

Ideas/comments welcome.
thanks

Fit it so that the average person using it is looking into the middle of it - re the electric cable... assuming you have a few spare tiles, remove the offending tiles, channel the wire in and retile.
