Hi,
I am planning to build a deck which will be partially built over an existing concrete slab and partly of an area of the lawn. I have dug out the turf and am planning on using adjustable risers to make up the difference in height. I am planning to add a layer of hardcore to the earth, compact it and then lay a weed control membrane below the risers. Can anyone suggest what depth of hardcore I will need? Thanks.
