Heat resistant cables for inglenook fireplace

by Nick Wells » Tue Jun 02, 2009 11:23 am

I am installing a woodburning stove in an inglenook fireplace. I wish to install lighting behind the lintel at the top, above the fire. Does anyone have any idea what sort of cable I should use? The lights will be about two to three feet from the top of the stove.

There's a few high heat/ fire rated cables;
Firetuf, no burn plat, mims.
Google fire rated cable will give you an idea or vist TLC website.
Most are designed for fire alarm systems but will do the trick.
