Help and Tips on Understairs Cupboard Shelving

by smileysmile1966 » Sun Oct 22, 2017 4:21 pm

Hi guys,

I am attaching a photo of my under stairs storage cupboard. Basically I want shelves on the left hand side, maybe 3 to 4 tiers. Which will extend to along the left hand side butting near to the sloping ceiling. The bottom shelf I would probably fix a 2 x 4 planed baton along the top of the skirting board which would be around 208cm long followed by 3 to 4 batons above all fixed to the plasterboard wall. I need then to build an outside frame which would rest on the floor. The frame would follow a rough 45 degree angle to the right. Shelves would be made out of plywood. The shelves will be supporting domestic power tools and boxes holding tools. Nothing extremely heavy.

My question is do any readers have a diagram or photo of this type of construction. I am pretty good at diy but some inspiration would be appreciated. Thank you
