Hinge Problem

by brihutchie » Mon Jun 07, 2010 12:30 pm

Hi all, Im wondering which is the best type of hinge to use on a cupboard I am creating to hide where the old boiler was! (See Picture) I have created a frame out of 50x50mm timber and was going to clad it with 18mm thick conti board. What is the best way to go about this problem? Recessed Hinge or butt hinge etc? The door will be 600mm wide and similar height but is quite heavy. Any help from people in the know would be very grateful.

Thanks in advance

Bri.
