How do I Attach a Bath/Shower Screen to a Non-Perpendicular Wall?

by jroebu14 » Wed Sep 19, 2018 2:24 pm

Hi,

Where I need to attach a bath/shower screen, there isn't a wall running perpendicular.

I imagine I need some special kind of screen rail that screws into the wall to the left of the shower (please refer to photos attached). This rail would have a 90 degree corner join for the screen to slot into. Is there such a thing? I'm having a hard time googling for it if it does exist. Or are there any better alternatives?

Thanks!

Most shower screens have this as standard to take into account of out of plumb walls. There is usually a channel which screws to the wall and the screen slots in it. You adjust the screen to the tray or bath, drill pilot holes in that position, insert screws with plastic retainers and lastly push fit covers over screws onto retainers. Some have more adjustment than others so look for one that's suitable for you. It usually says on the spec the amount of adjustment.
