how do you lay floor insulation??

Hi there!

I have bought a house that requires full renovation.
The walls have been DPC injected however the damp proof specialist didnt refill the holes again????
but my main question is i pulled the wooden flooring up as the house hadnt been lived in for a while and the concrete floors below the wood was damp from condensation. i think i now have to lay a damp proof membrane on the floor, then lay celotex insulation, then chipboard on top??
is this correct and does any one know how to do this or reccomend any products?

Your first point. Most installers then want to cover the wall with waterproof render, because they lack confidence in their work.
If it worked? Just plaster over.
The system you propose is OK.
However, think of the thickness of Celotex plus boards, how high are your door frames? Do you need to re-position the doors frames to retain their normal hight? Or can you risk tall people bumping their heads?
