So we have this massive hole (about 6 omch diameter) in the room ceiling going to the loft area, as we decided to get rid off the old air warmer system to heat the house and install a combi boiler.
What will be the best way to fill it? Is the expanding foam a good choice???
Winter is approaching and I feal that the heat is leaving the room towards the loft and the room never gets cozy enough.
Hi jan tramana, No foam is not the answer, fit batten size strips of wood over the hole and screw in both ends, 2 strips should do. Cut a piece of plasterboard slightly small than the hole and screw this up, fill gaps with filla.
