How to Insulate Edwardian Conservatory?

Post by Pea69 » Mon Oct 16, 2017 11:24 pm

Hi I'm trying to formulate a plan to insulate our conservatory.
It's 4x3.5 glass Edwardian.
I want to put battens up
Add silver superquilt
Batten over
Then put either a plasterboard/ plaster ceiling
Or
A panel type ceiling (false ceiling type thing)
No lights as we have wall lights.

My question is - I would like it to be as cosy as possible. - would it be ok to add kingsman boards, or other insulation in bewtween the supwrquilt and plasterboard / ceiling panels? Or is it not neede/ not advisable?

Cheers
