Hi Folks I'm a complete novice to this and plumbing so please be patient with me.
I have an old Trevi Showerhead/BodyJet setup which all works fine, but I want to replace the wall outlet for cosmetic reasons (I know - if it works don't fix it! :-) ).
Unfortunately it doesn't appear to be a simple unscrew connector. Its a PLASTIC wall outlet with the flange broken off. The internal pipe had a single notch in it (I added another notch to try unscrewing it...but didn't want to put too much pressure on to through fear of just breaking the plastic pipe, or the pipework behind)
It's obviously connected to a metal (brass?) pipe somehow (see inside).
Any idea if it should come off and if I can just replace it with something like a 40mm 1/2" elbow wall connector (brass/chrome) Cheers for any advice folks!
