Hi. I’m after some advice on how to safely remove/disconnect the electrical socket in the attached photo. And depending on this then what to fill the hole in with. It’s been used for an electric fire which we would like to remove. It’s part of the dining room fuse/circuit. Thanks

Your socket appears to have one cable, if this is so, follow it back to where it is fed from, then turn off the electricity at the consumers unit, and disconnect the cable from where it is connected to. Then switch the electricity back on.
