Iffy Joiner Using Jigtech to Install Door Handles?

Postby earthleap » Wed Oct 11, 2017 8:53 pm

Hi guys.

I have a joiner doing some work on my house including replacing all the internal doors.
He brought some new handles for the doors and said he was going to use this Jigtech system to fit the handles.
After he had done a couple I said that I wasn't happy with the results and I wanted to have just ordinary handles and latches.
The problem is that using the Jigtech system has left big holes in the centre of the doors where the replacement handles should go. Can these holes be repaired to enable new handles to go there or do I need to have them fitted off centre?
