INSTALLATION OF SECONDHAND GAS COOKER

by girlpup » Thu Apr 12, 2007 7:52 am

I recently purchased a secondhand gas hob and oven from a family who have had it for 25 years! It's a Cannon - circa 1982 and is absolutely immaculate! Unfortunately, I can't seem to find any corgi guy willing to fit it. What can I do?
I don't want to see it on the scrap heap nor do I want to buy the souless rubbish that everyone has in their kitchen.
Please help!

someone will fit it, try a gas fitter working for a housing association or council, they will do it on the side at a reasonable price , majority are decent people. If the hob is old and doesn't pass safety tests/checks you will still be charged for the work, but unable to use the hob.
