Installing en-suite

Post by james007 » Tue Jul 10, 2007 11:33 am

I'm currently trying to install a en-suite bathroom to my front bedroom. I was going along nicely until someone mentioned that i cannot run a soil pipe to the front of me house because of 1988 building regulation.

The house is a victorian property in birmingham. Im having difficulty finding anything to confirm this. Could anybody shed any light on this.

Hi - we have just installed a bathroom in a room that was a bedroom, and have had the building inspectors out to see the soil pipe running down the front of our Victorian house and they seemed very happy with it !

Speak to your local council, the building guys were such a help to us !
