I've had a flat roof window put on our rear extension. Looks great from the inside, but looking from above they have simply used a glazing panel which has been glued on to the square frame they created. The frame is fine - covered in roofing felt, but the silicon shows through as it does not have the 10cm or so black border of around the edges to cover the silicon up.
Can I simply get them to put weather proof film wrap around the 10cm edges ? or does a glazing panel differ significantly from a flat roof window.
