Hi all,
We have a log store built close to the (stone) wall of our house. I need to replace its roof, would you recommend extending the size of the existing roof slightly to close the gap between log store and wall (approx 3 inches) and then add lead flashing to seal or would leaving the existing gap be preferable? The log store roof slopes away from the building so the majority of rain ends away from the wall.
