The noise from the normal hood extractor units is so bad that one rarely uses it. In order to avoid this I am putting an inline extractor fan 6" in the roof area and ducting to the hood.
My problem is that I cannot find a metal grille with any sort of of male extractor ducting fitment. I can make up something with stainless steel sheet, a grille and a lot of Araldite but, I think, surely there is a simpler answer to this problem!
Any suggestions would be welcome.
