Leaking pipe to shower when trying to remove electric shower

by JackBman » Sun Jul 25, 2021 1:43 pm

Hi,

Long story short I was trying to remove my electric shower, realised I hadn’t turned the water off when a pipe started dripping. I tried to retighten the pipe but whichever way I turn it, it continues to drip.

I’ve now turned the water off. Am I missing something simple here? I’ve attached a picture of the pipe, it’s leaking from the bottom nut.

Should it be simple to just retighten it? Any help greatly appreciated!

Thanks

Hi jackbman
It looks like you have cross threaded the nut, you may have to buy a new fitting to put this right.
