Lighting and switch

Post by robster281 » Mon May 07, 2007 10:56 pm

Hey guys, recently decided to change a 1 gang 2 way switch. After removing the first switch I discovered that all 3 lights are switched from this one switch. So theres 3 pairs of red/black + earths and a 3 core + earth used for the 2 way bit to the other switch. So my question now, is this suitable for that type of switch? or is the switch over loaded with 3 indivdual lights.

Cheers
Rob

all switches rated for either 5 or 10 Amps so should not be a problem, think wall lights, often 4/5 on a switch, regards SPARX
