Lights supplied from fcu

by Basil20 » Mon May 12, 2008 9:29 pm

Hi
I have just built in two separate walk in wardrobes in my new loft conversion and would like to put lights inside them,
i would like to know if i can take a spur from a socket to a fused connection unit, then take a 1.0mm cable from the load to a light pendant with switch cable to a switch, then take a 1.0mm cable from light pendant to the second wardrobe to supply light and switch, can someone tell me if this is o.k and if so which fuse to use 3 or 5 amp.

Thanks in advance for any info.

Seems OK to me. But I would use cold lighting LED or energy saving or it may set cloths on fire. And with that type of bulb a 1 amp fuse is enough.
