Our downstairs loo has developed a fault in that it is extremely slow refilling after flush - taking about 20 mins or so to fill and then finishes with a strong hissing which requires a push on the fill arm(?) to stop.
I have posted some photos and had a read around and understand that it could just be a washer that is damaged. I can't get the blue cap off the fill valve to have a look - I don't want to cause any further damage by using brute force.
Grateful on advice how to proceed - some piccies below for reference - thanks in adavance.
