New Ceiling Light

by 861871 » Tue Mar 04, 2008 7:04 pm

I am trying to install a new ceiling light which has a small terminal block as follows L,E,N

I have 3 grey wires coming out of the ceiling. 2 with Red,Black,Earth and 1 with 2 Red and Earth. I have traced the grey wire with 2 Red and Earth back to the switch in the room.

I have a total of 9 wires coming from the 3 grey wires in the ceiling as described above and am totally confused as to which wire goes where or which ones can be combined to insert into the terminal block.

I would be very grateful for some guidance as this problem is above me.

Thank you

Just above your post it says click here for help. Do that and look at the project called replacing a light fitting. Look at all the other electrical projects also.
