Please give me advice I want my flat roof fixed for good!
I have a inlaw apt that has a flat roof which then has a deck (wood) directly placed on top of it and its a nightmare!!!
I have had three very poor contractors work on the roof one built it wrong to begin with the other fixed it temporaily the last took the money and left without fixing anything.
I feel the only thing I can do is remove the deck which is 20 x30 + and directly comes off my kitchen to view my pasture. I want to keep the roof a deck that can be used.
My questions are these:
I was thinking to do a new roof like what is done commercially with little white stones and just put up a rail
would that work?
about how long would that last?
NOW THE BIG PART I live in Southern Maryland how do I find a good contractor that won't take me, will back up his work and give me back my deck and a leak proof inlaw apt??
Can you please offer me some suggestions I would most appreciative.
