New Lever Handles With Backplate to fix to Existing Spindle Using Grub Screws

Post by Watdoz » Wed Aug 16, 2017 8:22 pm

Are there any manufacturers who make modern chrome lever handles and backplates which can be fixed to an existing drilled and threaded spindle (1930's). I want to retain the traditional door furniture on one side of the door (it matches all the other furniture throughout the house), but have modern chrome furniture in a newly refurbished bathroom and separate toilet. The existing door furniture is fixed using grub screws to the spindle. I have searched and not been able to source any modern lever handles (with backplate) which can be fixed with screws to the existing spindle.
