My gfs father and I recently replaced our hot water storage tank as it was leaking. The install seems to have gone OK except I have now turned everything back on and there's no water coming from our hot taps and it doesn't sound like our new HWST is filling up, and the cold taps are working fine.
We have a boiler and HWST with emersion heater on a gravity fed system. The valves are all open and the cold water tank in the attic is full but it doesn't seem to be filling the HWST and I can't for the life of me work out why. I suspect maybe a air lock has formed but am I missing something?
