Noise behind bathroom cabinet/shower every few minutes?

Post by awwheel » Fri Aug 06, 2021 3:43 pm

Hi all,

Hopefully this is the right place to post this as I'm not even sure this is a plumbing issue.

There is a fairly loud short noise coming from behind my bathroom cabinet/shower every couple of minutes. This is in a fairly new flat (less than 2 years). I can't really describe it any better than that so I recorded the sound: https://photos.app.goo.gl/B6eyyMpHjPjh6P9c9

That video is pointing out a flap in the left side of the bathroom cabinet that leads to behind the shower.

Would really appreciate it if someone could help me diagnose this issues as right now I don't know whether calling a plumber would be the solution.

Thanks,
Anthony

Hi awwheel
There is no sound on your link. Most likely a backdraught flap in an extraction system.
