Oil fed heating system

Postby markrichards » Sun Oct 21, 2007 12:33 pm

I have an oil fed central heating system and am confused how the water gets hot. There does not seem to be any water tanks anywhere. Can someone please explain how my system works as I think I have an air lock in the pipes as I have banging in the pipes when the system is turned on. Thankyou
