I lot depends on why you want an external socket. [attachment=0]rolec_evwp0020-d_ff7372e538fc98c00c352fe1b5867072.jpg[/attachment] the socket shown is sold as a EV charging point, at over £90 one would think it was good for any house, however reading the spec on the socket the RCBO is the wrong spec being type A when for many cars type B is required, and it has no auto disconnection should the PEN (combined neutral and earth) be lost to the house, so in real terms the socket you show is just as good, or bad depending on how you look at it.
In the main equipment for use out doors is class II, there may be an earth pin on the socket, but that earth is not used, if we use class I equipment outside it needs to be a TT or TN-S supply, caravans, boats, and petrol stations are not allowed to be supplied with a TN-C-S supply, it should really include hot tubs, and patio heaters unless class II, as real earth and supply earth can be under fault conditions a different voltage. Not a problem in the house as everything is bonded so all at supply earth voltage, like the bird on the power line, so no shock, and we don't use earthed metal doors, so only danger is an outside tap and even that not a problem if supplied with plastic pipe.
So for lawn mowing I know I do not do it in the rain, so nothing left plugged in when raining, same with hedge cutter etc.
So the why do you want an outside socket is important.
