outside light

Hi, i have just installed an outside light (bulk head), but need to get power to it.I have brought the cable through the wall, to the rear of a current swich which is used for a kitchen light,this current swich is a single swich and has a red wire going to com(live) and a black wire going to 1 way-what i can't under stand is how to wire the outside light up using a double swich which have com,L1 and L2 for each switch-Hope i have explained enough - thanks -Dave

Hi,
sorry you can't do that!

there is no Neutral at the switch, only Live in and switch line out.
you have to connect to the light fitting, see projects section for drawings
