[u]Outside Lighting Switched from Inside[/u

I have had an extention built and I am doing the preparation prior to getting an electrician and kitchen fitter and would like to know the following so I can get the channels and back boxes in place ready for an electrician.

I would like a light switch by the back door to operate the outside lighting does this need to be a double pole switch as it will be RCD protected at the fuse board.

Could you also tell me if it is acceptable to run wiring in conduit in the cavity of cavity walling.

Cheers Dave

This needs designing by person who is signing paper work.
Cavity walls don't normally have cables in because they would need de-rating so much because of insulation.
But no good doing anything without the say so of electrician doing the job. He will need to tell you what he wants if he is signing for it.
