We've recently had a lot of renovation works done in the house and there is a lot of dust in the air. We will of course wait a while for it to settle but our builder has advised us to paint the walls with a PVA mixture before painting to lock down some of the dust. There are a few newly plastered walls but also many which are not new plaster. Is this a good idea? I have read that the PVA can make the paint peel off afterwards. Any advice greatly received. Thanks
