Hi, I am looking to paper just one wall in a very small toilet (the other three walls are painted). The wall in question is ~90cm wide and the paper is 52cm. I know for larger walls the normal approach is to start from a plumb line somewhere in the middle of the wall and work round the room from there, but for such a narrow space that is going to be less than two drops, am I best to start with a full strip in one corner and have a thinner strip down the other side or is there a “better” way? I’ve Googled my fingers to the bone but can’t find an answer to this specific question.

It all depend if the paper is plain or got big pattern on.
If plain come from the corner, but if patterned mark line centre of the wall and put strip either side of the line and trim off with stanley knife and caulking blade, or mark with pencil and cut.

Thanks! It’s a patterned paper and I took the second approach or running a plumb down the middle of the wall - I’m pretty happy with the result for a first attempt. Cheers, Ross
