Power shower cold water feed

Hi all,

I want to replace an exsiting electrical shower to a plumbed power shower with hot and cold water feed. My question is, can the cold water feed from main?

You cannot connect a pump to a mains supply. It has nowhere to "suck" the water from. the pressure will be greater than the pump can handle anyway.

Most showers require balanced hot and cold feeds.
