Pressure Treated Timber - C24 6" X 2" (BROWN?)

by NightShadow1991 » Wed Jan 20, 2021 6:35 pm

Hi all,

Quick question. I am trying to get my hands on pressure treated structural C24, like the green tanalith stuff, 47mm x 150mm (6"x2") but in brown dipped treatment? As a client wants table tops brown and I don't fancy coating over the already treated green pressure treated timber. From my research, it seems only up North or the midlands and I think some suppliers - Travis Perkins is mine - can re dip at cost, but not easy and has to be dry.

Any help greatly appreciated,

Best,
James

Hi nightshadow1991
You’ll probably have to get untreated timber and coat it brown. The brown timber is generally from fencing suppliers but it will be agricultural grade timber.
