redidrive plasterboard fixings problem

by Hydrogenspectrum » Mon May 28, 2007 7:12 pm

I was trying to put a mirror up onto a plasterboard wall, but the holes I needed were very close together. I used the redidrive fixings but because they are wide they wouldn't go next to each other, fell out and left a big hole in the wall. How do I fix the hole and how do I fix my mirror up?

See our project on filling holes in plasterboard. To fix the mirror after this you need to glue (See our adhesives used at home project) a piece of timber to the wall using gripfil, and screw the mirror fixings to that after letting it set foir a day. The timber only needs to be 10mm thick and obviously slightly wider than the distance between the holes.
