Removed wallpaper but slight scratches and chips remain

Postby UselessDIYer1984 » Wed Jun 02, 2021 11:38 am

Good afternoon, bit of help please removed some wallpaper. Gave it a sand down and a quick coat of paint, however the wall has some scratches and little chips. Would you recommend something like a primer or fine finish ready mixed plaster something like this

Any recommendation would be great!

Thank you!

Hi uselessdiyer1984
For the defects you describe I would suggest you use Polyfilla or Tetrion powder based fillers, they sand smooth very easily but you will have to apply a mist coat. If you want to use the B&Q product try it on a small area and see how easy it is to sand and get a smooth finish.
