Removing wall light

by safcaph » Sun Apr 22, 2007 7:39 pm

Hi

I have removed some wall lights and am obviously left with the wires in the wall. What do I need to do to 'make safe'? I am looking to plaster / fill over the small hole when this is done.

Also, the wall lights didnt work - not sure if this is relevant!!

Thanks

try to find out why they didn't work, if cut off/disconnected from say ceiling rose you should be able to see, test for power at wall lights, ie hook temp lampholder on & see if dead or if fittings faulty, if dead then you can just cut off & make good, if not dead then only safe way is to locate source & disc., regards SPARX
