Repairing Concrete around an outdoor banister

Postby Alfagtv » Wed Jul 01, 2020 12:18 pm

Hi There,
I am trying to repair an out door banister.
The upright post is held into the concrete step at its base by 2 anchor bolts.
The bottom anchor bolt has come away from the concrete and there is a hole approx 3 .5 cm deep 2 cm wide.
I would like to fill the whole and replace the anchor bolt to ensure the upright is secure.
I am not sure what materials to use as I have never done this before.

Any advice would be most welcome.
Thanks in advance

Hi alfagtv
Suggest you clear the hole of all loose debris and then fill the hole with one of the 2-part anchorfix which are readily available. You can use the existing anchor if it's ok.
