Repairing pitted and brittle concrete floor

Post by geoffmday » Sat May 23, 2020 7:50 am

HI
I am a wannabe DIY.
We have a garage floor that is old, tired, pitted and very loose/dusty concrete.
I want to repair it and flatten out so that it is better for storage and foot traffic.
Are there any recommendations for the best product to re-finish a concrete floor with a thin layer that re-fortifies it, smooths out and can handle the foot traffic, etc.
I have never laid concrete before so I am sure I will make a hash of it...so anything that is good for the inept is great!

Hi geoffmday
Probably your best option is self levelling concrete but choose one without latex and clean and damp the floor before you start.
