Replace rad With Towel Rail on Daikin Altherma Air/Water LT System

by Brian » Tue Nov 21, 2017 11:24 pm

We moved into our bungalow just over a year ago and I want to now remove a small rad in the utility room and replace it with a towel rail (far more useful). The c/h system is an 8 year old Daikin Altherma LT air/water heat pump set up and I was just wondering if there was any special procedure I need to follow when opening the valves to let the water flow into the new towel rail ? Reason for asking is that a neighbour has something similar and says it is not the same as "ordinary" c/h and needs doing "properly otherwise it throws an error code ".
Does anyone have any direct experience of these systems and any info they could give me ? Any advice appreciated.
Cheers
Brian.
