Replacement Flexi Tap Tail Problems

by Thewatcher » Mon Jun 08, 2020 12:45 pm

Hi, Needing help on getting a replacement tap tail. I have added an image of the one I need (left side) and the one i ordered online which is too small. Looking online they all look to be the smaller type. I went into B&Q and they seemed to have every kind of tap tail apart from the size i need. The other end of the tail is M10, i believe. The female connection measures 20mm. I have googled the life out of this. Can any of you good people confirm which size i need and where to get it?

Hi thewatcher
The flexible on the left is 3/4" BSP and the one on the right is 1/2" BSP. Can't help with the other end since it is not visible.

Hi thewatcher
Thanks for the extra photo, the thread may be 1/4 BSP or it something of a similar but different thread pitch. If you have found a flexible connector with the right thread to fit your tap then you will have to buy a bush - probably 3/4 to 1/2" one - so you can reduce the size of the larger end.
